Wax Content Testing Methods

Water Floatation Method:
Place the granule lubricant into water. If it floats on the water surface, it indicates pure wax granules with no added calcium powder. Our factory’s pure black granules are made entirely from wax and will float on water.

Visual Observation Method:

1. For the same weight, the larger the volume and the fuller the packaging, the higher the wax content.

2. Take cups of equal volume, fill them with granules, and weigh them. The lighter sample has a higher wax content. Wax has a high density but light texture, whereas calcium powder has a lower density but heavier texture.

Advantages of Using Lubricant Granules

1. Contains 98% high-purity black wax, carefully manufactured without graphite, providing excellent lubrication.

2. Increases injection speed; the surface of die-cast parts remains oil-free, clean, and glossy.

3. When reusing the sprue, runners, and castings, no oil stains appear, no smoke is generated, and there is no air pollution.

4. Reduces the occurrence of air holes in castings, extends the lifespan of the piston cylinder, and minimizes negative effects caused by friction.
