Product Features

  1. This product is a sodium-free aluminum flux remover, used to remove surface dross from molten aluminum. It can also be used for furnace cleaning and aluminum-dross separation.

  2. It has excellent aluminum-dross separation performance, effectively separating aluminum from the dross. The resulting dross does not clump, contains very little aluminum, generates heat during use, creates dross quickly, and is easy to remove.

  3. Suitable for sodium-sensitive aluminum and aluminum alloy melts for dross removal and aluminum-dross separation.

Instructions for Use

 

  • Addition Method: Manually sprinkle the flux remover powder onto the surface of the molten metal and promptly use a dross skimming tool to stir and knead the floating dross. Once the aluminum is clearly separated from the dross, proceed to remove the dross.

  • Addition Temperature: Above 680℃

  • Addition Amount: 0.1–0.3% of the molten metal’s weight

 

Storage Instructions

 

Shelf Life: 12 months. Keep dry and store in a dry warehouse. Do not expose the product after opening the packaging.

  • If Moisture-Affected: Bake at 100℃ for 2 hours before use.

  • Usage Precautions: Do not mix with flammable materials such as charcoal, wood shavings, cotton yarn, machine oil, or paper during use.
